Living Ecosystems & Experiential Learning

At Florabunda, the natural world is our classroom. We design hands-on learning experiences that connect soil microbiology, water catchment, and polyculture directly to human health and community resilience.

By observing living biological systems in real time, participants learn to see agriculture as a regenerative relationship—reinforcing the vital loop between ecological stewardship and personal well-being.

Rooted Here, Growing Outward

Florabunda in Malibu is our living laboratory, proof-of-concept, and first seed. Here, we test ideas, build standard operating procedures (SOPs), and measure what it truly takes to bring land back to life.

We are not scaling a rigid set of crops—we are scaling a living systems framework rooted in principle, not prescription. What we refine in Malibu will serve as a adaptable blueprint to carry restorative agriculture to farms across the country and around the world.

The Expansion Roadmap

• Phase 1: Malibu (The Pilot & Playbook)

  Establishing baseline soil health, microbial diversity, and human-scale food forests in a Mediterranean/arid climate, while codifying our educational frameworks.

• Phase 2: Florida (Subtropical Adaptability)

  Adapting our multi-layered agroforestry models to high-humidity, high-rainfall environments.

• Phase 3: Costa Rica (Tropical Abundance & Eco-Hub)

  Integrating into high-biodiversity tropical ecosystems and establishing an international retreat and educational node.
